I have been part of The Lighthouse team for many years, beginning my journey as a volunteer and progressing into a role as a Recovery Worker. This gave me a great sense of pride and purpose, as I was able to work closely with clients throughout their recovery journey, supporting them across all areas of their treatment. My experience in this role inspired me to train as a counsellor, and I am now proud to be part of the counselling team. I find it incredibly rewarding to walk alongside clients as they begin to understand themselves, develop greater awareness, and make positive changes in their lives. It is a privilege to witness clients grow, develop, and move towards becoming the person they want to be.
In my personal time, I enjoy spending time with my family, going on holidays, and simply enjoying life, laughing and making memories with the people I care about. I still believe in having fun, and you may even find me on the dance floor every now and then! I also continue my own journey of recovery through 12-Step Fellowship, which is an important part of my life. I devote a significant amount of my time to this, as it continues to support my personal growth, recovery, and connection with others.
